LubbDubb is a partner with Movemeant Foundation a 501(C)3 non-profit organization committed to making fitness accessible, fun and empowering while shifting the conversation from weight loss and typical beauty ideals to that of body positivity and supporting one another.
Every time you book a class on LubbDubb we donates a portion of the cost to Movemeant Foundation. The donation empowers girls and women by providing them with resources, opportunities and experiences to use physical movement as a tool to build confidence and self-worth.
Movemeant has two impact programs:
We create opportunities where success through sports and fitness leads to success in academics, teamwork, and community. We help develop healthy habits that further a girls physical and emotional well-being for the rest of her life.
Health and Fitness Curriculum
We facilitate a body-positive curriculum for middle school girls that address the critical need for emotional, social and physical development for girls. Discussions occur in a casual environment, which an overlay of creative physical programing such as hip-hop dance, cheer, yoga, Zumba or even kickboxing.
Grants are awarded to fuel the positive power that physical movement has on a young woman’s self-confidence and strengthen its presence so it can be have lasting effects throughout her life. With this scholarship fund, we award a variety of young female athletes from economically-disadvantaged communities to up-and-coming all-starts who require additional resources for mental, physical or emotional coaching.
